New Reading Homework for Grade One

There is a change in the grade one reading homework. Students who are reading Animals in the Great Outdoors are to answer the first question in the "Do You Know?" section after reading each assigned story. Please write in complete sentences. Record your answers in your writing notebook.

Thursday, February 11 is the last day to purchase tickets for the Night in Tuscany. Get yours today!

Pirates!

The SK/Grade One class will be performing a pirate skit for the Night in Tuscany. Please have your child come dressed that evening as a pirate. A simple stripped shirt and bandana will do. Eye patches are welcome!

Piano Auditions

Several students have expressed an interest in playing the piano at the Night in Tuscany. Ms. Rocca is holding auditions tomorrow at lunch. Please bring your music to school tomorrow.

Spirit Day

Come dressed in red, white and pink on Thursday. Earn house points! We will be celebrating Valentine's Day with house games, festive clothing and a class party. If you wish, you may bring a treat to share with the class.

Spelling test this Thursday!

Since Friday is a P.D. day, we will be having our spelling test on Thursday instead. This week, all the words feature the long "o" sound.

2010-2011 Registration

Registration packages for the 2010-2011  school year will be going home on Friday, February 5. Please check your child's backpack for a large white envelope. All forms are due March 1, 2010.
