This Wednesday, the grade one students will be writing the CAT (Canadian Achievement Test). This test assesses students' reading, language, spelling and math skills. The CAT also evaluates how well students perform in comparison to other students across Canada.
There is no specific preperation for this test. The test is comprised of elements that have been taught throughout the year. We will be taking the test together. Please make sure your child gets proper rest and eats a good breakfast. Please be on time and present for the day.

Grandparent's Day
Once again, we will be celebrating Grandparent's Day in May. All grandparents are invited to come. A tour, food and class presentations are just some of the things the grandparents will enjoy. Please send in addresses for your grandparents. We will be sending out invitations by mail to those grandparents both near and far. Even if you think that your grandparents will be unable to attend, we would still like to send them an invitation. Please send in the addresses by Wednesday.

Snowpants
As you are putting away all the winter gear, please check to see if you have an extra pair of snowpants. One student is still missing their snowpants. If you find them, kindly return them to the lost and found.
